Who is responsible for your information
Vietnam by THD is operated by THD International Travel Company Limited, a licensed Vietnam-based international tour operator. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to marketing@thdtravel.com.vn.
Information we collect
When you send a trip request, we collect the details you provide, including your name, email address, country of residence, travel dates, airports, group size, preferred journey, comfort level, indicative budget and travel interests. We may also record the page and campaign that led to your enquiry so we can understand which information is useful to travellers.
How we use it
- To review your request and prepare a relevant itinerary and quotation.
- To contact you about the requested journey and changes you ask us to make.
- To coordinate confirmed services with hotels, transport providers, guides and other suppliers.
- To protect the website, prevent spam and improve our customer service.
- To meet accounting, legal and regulatory obligations when a booking is confirmed.
Sharing and international handling
THD operates in Vietnam. Information from overseas travellers is therefore received and handled in Vietnam. We share only the information reasonably required to quote or operate a confirmed service with selected suppliers and technology providers. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Enquiry records are normally retained for up to 24 months so we can continue the conversation and understand prior requests. Confirmed booking and payment records may be retained longer where Vietnamese law requires it. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect stored information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your enquiry information, or ask us to stop contacting you. Some booking records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons. Email your request to marketing@thdtravel.com.vn.
